All is going well until a stranger accuses Ruby of stealing her family’s recipes and plagiarizing them for profit. Things go from bad to worse when a woman is found dead, with a stack of recipes and one of Ruby’s cookbooks.
Poor Ruby is so rattled that she starts questioning herself, and Maggie steps in to throw a lifeline to her bestie and business partner by setting out to find the killer.
The grieving family further complicates matters by accusing the sheriff of stalling the investigation when they discover that he’s Maggie’s husband.
